Children are infamous for their smiles,

Not you little one,

For the Maker blessed you with the power of your eyes. 

 

Two deep pools, innocent and bright;

With the power to summon forth both darkness and light. 

 

Little one, even the moon is envious of you, for your eyes smile - spontaneous with a hint of truth. 

 

Little One your eyes show that you will survive both the darkness and light hidden in mankind;
