My days in Africa

BusyB

As I sit here
Listening to the sound of water
It takes my mind back
To the days in Africa

Boulder hopping in the Drakensberg
The freshest of pure water
Tinkling down to the sea
What fabulous scenery

As I sit here in the sunshine
I feel warm to the skin
Almost like a lizard basking within
Takes me back to days in Africa

As I sit here in the garden
On a summer's day
I remember with great fondness
My days in Africa

These are my perfect days
Few and far between
Thank goodness for
Memories!!

Feels like you miss it very much. Regrets?

    • BusyB

No regrets, one has to move on to safer ground. Yes I miss the stunning countryside and the sea, but it's great exploring new ground!!

Thanks - that somehow says more than a long essay...put me where I belong (having no idea).
