Seeking Restoration

I thought that if I showed you where my cracks are

You could show me where to get the glue

And that together we could mend me

And I'd come out nearly brand new

 

So I let you see the scrapes and fractures I'd been hiding

And there were some I hadn't known

But I'm just not feeling put together

Instead I'm broken, far from home
