Aurora Sunrise

PeeKaBoo

Inside that polaroid film, we were the happiest

Danced like the colored lights in the sky

Twinkled our eyes as the stars watched in jealousy

Shared secrets that even the sun couldn’t hear

And breathed in the same dust that built overtime

That same love evolved into deep hatred

And everything we once knew became black in the radiant sky

Enveloped in a jar of darkness

Did you smile down on the Earth and put my future into your palms?

Would I find you if I stopped in my path?

Abandoned the course of the vast horizon

That held the space of time

Maybe if I held you closer or tighter..

But you would still slip through the cracks of my fingers

Did you wake me up to alert me of the coming dawn?

To find the desolate manifested with beauty

And in the midst of the collision came your light

Even though I’m concealed by the shadows

I wish for these tears to reach you

As you walk through the sky with a gentle rustle of our film

Do you remember me? Are you thinking of me?

Though I urge to close my eyes in the bottomless

You brought a sunrise, a coming dawn

Seeping through the fractures of my heart

And reflecting the tears that you heard
