The Dark and Light

Ginger RIse

I grab your hand and hold it tight,

So you’ll never see the light

You shame yourself, cry all night

But soon I’ll let you go

You look around and run away,

But I come back to hold your hand

I fight with light to make you dark,

But soon I’ll let you go

You see a tunnel, you see the light

I’ll let you free and walk away

The light comes and hugs you tight

And never let you go.
