Labyrinth

rebmasters

What is the mind
but an endless labyrinth someone else
is trying to escape?

So close/
light years away.
When you moved within me,
I suddenly found you.

Maybe my walls
can still
your minotaur
rage & your pain.

A light from deep within
endless, cyclical paths
& thoughts
for you to follow &
penetrate with your wild wisdom & grace.

Forge your own way
through my bones
that I may ever grow
to know
you best.

When I listen,
I can hear you within.
I’m not trying to trap you but
maybe I do want to
