Will & Grace

Kurt Philip Behm

He never met a man he didn’t like

—or ever let a sunrise become old

(Dreamsleep: August, 2021)

The Way West

Riding through fear

until passing regret

Excuses on fire,

memory beset

Leaving the past

and the future untold

Freedom inherent

—the moment unfolds

    Well written, Kurt.
I resemble the first poem. Produces a lot of heart break, but I have no regrets.

'—or ever let a sunrise become old'
    what a great line
and I liked the horse trot, beat
    to 'The way west'..
    such a meaningfully fun imagining
of that spirited wild west, heritage
(or maybe I'm mistaken in my interpretation)
    thanks for sharing, dear Poet
