It's autumn again

cosmacpan

and the leaves mourn their lost condition
in the fall the odes of love are lost
like the chestnuts that leave their dream in their peels
with only their death do they follow their fate
to leave behind shadows that do not die

my forgotten dreams and caresses are cold
the footsteps stumble into chipped memories
the taste of life perishes in the mouth
and my lips blunt the humble forgetfulness
names past in the calendars of silence

the regrets knock on my door
and the wind blows the last redoubt
it's cold in the soul and in my eyes, flocks pass in the eyes
at the Dead Sea the waves twist on the beach
and here is the long road waiting for me
