FROM THE FIRE ESCAPE

shadow424

I employ myself

into night,

an image

without notice

observing legs

to elsewhere

with overlapping

shadows

passing below,

wondering about

souls dripping

or hearts breaking,

each without

a glance

between them,

a tapestry

of nameless spirits

under lights so

bright

it robs the

glory of stars

as neon’s tempt

the weak into

shelter

    wonderful imagery
there's a unique feel to your style
    subtle, is sadly
    far too often, overlooked
as a valuable trait of poetry,
    thanks for choosing to share
