Don't forget me, but-

Blue Violet

I burned all your things in June

but missed you again when July came.

Will you forget me soon?

Will I become nothing more than a name?

As if I was just that autumn breeze,

close enough to touch your skin

only to vanish

without being known, without being seen.

Will you spare me a second in your chaotic thoughts?

Will you watch the sky, and somehow miss your loss?

Will you remember us, while having your coffee?

As it was once a companion

in our endless talks.

I hope you don't forget me,

that's all I want to say.

But if you got hurt by the memories,

I'd rather be washed away.

This felt like an intimate conversation between two broken people. Fine write dear Blue Violet!

Reminds me of this beautiful song:

'Will you remember us, while having your coffee?'

Those endless, aching questions we can never know the answer to. Wonderful words x

I think Arvy, phrased it best
      an 'intimate conversation'
      is what this felt like,
worded poetic, to serenade the passing
      of a most beloved connection..
a beautifully subtle offering from you today
      thanks for sharing, dear poet
