Nope, not a bit of Shakespeare

Not 'To be or not to be'

But a rendition from Orchi

But he ain't gonna sing it (phew!)

Fido won't let him

 

'It's sad I know', says Fido to me

'Ain't you got nothing better to do than this?'

Discovering we can 'Like' and even 'Unlike' poems

By the simple of a click or two on the 'Like' button

 

'Why would you 'Unlike' it?' asks Fido

'Erm, we might change our mind

We might like a poem, but then not like it after all', I reply

You might cross a poet off your Christmas card list even!

Or is that going too far?

 

'Doh! make up your mind', says Fido

'And why you always 'Like' your own poems?' he asks me

 

'Well, no one else may 'Like' them', I reply

It will give me (and you too)

At least one 'Like' on your own poems! heehee.

    I'm trying to unlike it......how do I unlike it.... there must be a way....Put a negative in there? How do I put a negative in there?...there must be a way...put a like in and divide it by two...How do I divide it by two?....But even then I'v'e got to quarter it...How would I quarter it?...Oh this get's me nowhere...Perhaps I could bug Orchi's computer...I think I'll have to call a mate in North Korea...He's good at that kind of thing......

      Thanks Dave. lol. You have to Like it first - click on the heart and it turns red. To Unlike it, click on heart again, and it goes back to grey. Also the counter changes.

        Thanks for the clarification, orchi: that clears that up....Don't take any notice of Teddy - I just found the mechanism confusing .Your poem was entertaining and I give you a big tick for a bravura attempt at diversification.

        That like button is a bit contravertial. It has been applied to every poem ever posted on MPS u know. I was looking at one of my old ones, it had been read by 62 different people and the like button score was zero.
        Pah, I don't bother with it, I'd rather comment if i like a piece or move along quietly if I dont.
        Fido needs more walks.

          Likes are ok, sometimes I reread a poem, trying to like it ! Realized that I unliked it by mistake lol
