Crushed

John Prophet

Crushed.
Change.
Everything
that was
will be
no more.
Accelerating
change.
Faster
than
before.
Attitudes.
Traditions.
Beliefs.
Unrecognizable.
The future.
Fast
approaching
blur.
Lifetime
lived,
traditions
Intact.
Breaking
apart.
New ways.
New thoughts.
Tsunamis of
difference.
Unrecognizable.
Pages flipping
faster.
Faster
all the
time.
Faster
than before.
Those
sweeping
away today.
Will be
swept away
tomorrow.
Attitudes.
Arrogance
of the
new
to be
crushed
by the
newer.
So it goes.

Remindes me of Yeats 'Second Coming'. A very poignant write for these turbulent times. Spot on.
