What is depth?
Nowadays somethin I’m seein less
Do y’all even connect unless it’s through the internet?
What is depth?
A concept that I’ve gone fishing for
I dive in the water hoping I’ll find it if I keep swimming more
as of late my fate carries weight that could make me drown
Try to communicate face to face but everybody is lookin down
Livin in a world that revolves around a screen
Makes me wanna scream so I could wake up from this dream
What is depth?
It’s that moment when all hope was lost
Until I came across somebody who saw everything I saw
A beaming light to give me life at the end of the tunnel
Pulled me from the rubble and this mess
I know it was my question but I found my own answer to depth

A great shout of pain I understand completely. And as a result I find that some folk's responses to face to face are in a way curtailed as a result... probably just age with me.
Wouldn't mind knowing a little more of that 'somebody' before I could understand completely....
