Wasted Potential

PoeticBiscuit

I feel like a bird with a broken wing,

Or a siren that never sings,

A cellphone that never rings,

A doorbell which never dings.

I feel like a pilot with vertigo,

Christmas without the snow,

A horn that never blows,

A performer that never shows.

I feel like a mirror with no reflection,

Navigator with no direction,

A romantic with no affection

A collector with no collection

I feel like a wasted potential.

Great poem PB. Long time no see. There's no such thing as wasted potential, just time to practice and hone ones skills

Long time indeed. I come and go every once in a while. Life has been busy recently! As always, thanks for stopping by.
