IT'S A SMALL WORLD.

The elder poet

This world is not so great that we can't share the warmth of the same sun .

Or there be a distance so great that we can't view the same moon .

As well as wish on the same stars  .

Do you really think we are so far apart?

Dunno where such a suggestion that these aren't shared celestial bodies could have come from.
The human race proves decade after decade that we are very far apart ideologically. I wish it were not so. How many hundreds or thousands of years have there been peacemakers who have been confounded by humanity.
Such a shame, but lets not kid our selves with anything but reality.
