Father Hood

PoeticBiscuit

You are my boy,

Yet I’m barely a man?

Happiness fills this room,

Same spot, fear stands.

Happiest of moments,

Brings the greatest of fears,

The thought of losing you,

Worse now that you’re here.

Starting on this lifelong path,

An unknown journey,

One with many mistakes,

And an abundance of learning.

So many Stressful days,

Followed by sleepless nights,

With melancholy lows,

And extraordinary heights.

This is my life now,

And I’ll do as I should,

This is my faithful promise,

Of my father hood.
