Notice of absence from Doggerel Dave

Not absent - still here!

Look at the science -
Reduce reliance
On superstition
And new age nonsense.
So just let it go -
Be open and grow;
There’s too much at stake
Get out there and throw
Belief away and be open to change.

Tim minchin doesn't want to play! So I can't tell if you believe this or are being sarcastic Dave
That is very sad Sax. If you went straight to Utube and put Storm and Tim Minchin there something should come up I'll bet.....
But although I've already admitted my poetry ain't good - surely it isn't so bad that my meaning is obscure....?
What about cut \'n paste ?

The second one gives it to you straight.
I like the cut of your jib sir .. may you sail through the storm with both your mast n your sails intact ................ N
And Tim Minchin's Jib? I did it to showcase a talented genius from the Antipodes, of which I have reason to believe you have some nodding acquaintance...
Aye aye sir, pure antipodean genius ........................................ š
Just been introduced to Tim via your link Dave and wow he is so good and very clever with his fantastic rhyming
........ Aussie wit has always been for me a laugh a minute.
Hi Fay - Doubtless you have found a plethora of Tim's doings down the sidebar at YouTube. He is worth the visit.
Thanks for the call.
PS Guidance required: Was 'Lippy', (my previous) just too far out of touch....?
Well done Dave!
Cheers Jon.
Love the poem AND video Dave. Thanks for the intro to Tim Minchin. I hadn't heard of him. Good stuff.
Tim is worth the effort, C.
PS: I'm starting to sound like his agent; I can assure I am not - just a fan.
Change indeed! That is the only thing that allows us to grow! Though climate change is not kind
Climate change is forever on my mind, Dove. I believe we may have actually passed that'tipping point already...
New age rhubarb was everywhere in the hippy era, as well as peace and love..unfortunately more of the superstition appears to have survived than the P and L.
Funny how many people follow like sheep whether lies, superstition, religion, and even science that also changes day to day. Good write Dave.
Good to know you have been exposed to Tim Minchin, Soren.
