Between The Lines (+2)

Kurt Philip Behm

Is reason the straightest road

to percipience

Or is truth intuition

—memory’s black hole

(Dreamsleep: August, 2021)

Excalibur

“Draw me not without reason

nor sheath me without honor”

There’s blood in the inkwell

—death on the page

(Dreamsleep: August, 2021)

Dream-Weavers

There are people

who

 I love to hate

that live inside my heart

They thread me

 in

then knot me up

new patterns in the dark

To make my world

a

thicker braid

than those who fawn and swoon

And stitch the flame

 of

tangled fire

—unwoven in my loom

(Ronald McDonald House: August, 2021)

    Kurt,

There’s so much weaving and unweaving to unravel “Between The Lines (+2)”…
    a welcomed challenge.

agree with you on so many levels
admittedly, we are creatures of instinct
    even after much consideration
we mostly work our way back, to rely
    on our first impressions..
I think Might/Power, in and of itself
can never be vilified, so acquiring it
    is essential, its just
how we choose to utilise it, that defines
whether we're branded heroes or villains..
    (such an intriguing read
    thanks for sharing Kurt)

My pleasure and thanks again for the insight.
