hearts of gold and stars

Soph

there was a lady who lived on the sun

her and the stars had everlasting fun

the moon came around from time to time

only enough speech to say hello and goodbye

but a special day occurred, when both of them were out

where the sun met the moon and the stars were about

the sun said his attire was beautiful

the moon said her voice was musical

together they gazed upon the galaxy

sitting on the edge of the universes balcony

staring at the brightness star

blushing and laughing from afar

the sun shone her brightest on that day

casting a ray of golden honey on the earth’s bay

the moon lit up, in the pitch black dark

he swept the lady into the sea of stars with a spark

they danced upon the midnight lights

they twirled and giggled and came alive

the sun and her moon

the moon and his sun

they promised to be together till their time was done
