Soggy slugs

BusyB

While running along an east Cheshire lane
Sweat pouring down my back
Raindrops misting my vision
The smell of soggy slugs
In drenched passing flower beds
I plod along uneven pavements
Head down, concentrating
Looking forward to a warm shower!!

I've never considered that a slug might smell. Maybe i'm immune to the odour and to be honest i guess i should be thankful if i am because the thought is quite a yuk one.

I feel like I need a shower too now LOL.

I just loved the fact that this morning I got to run down an East Cheshire lane.... so now I can stay home for the rest of the day.
