I’m trying not to be so bad

Kira Zubal

I’m trying not to be so bad,

I’m going not to be so good,

My heart of stone and of regret,

My heart is so misunderstood.

They look for miracles and art,

I look like something is no use,

I’m not an ordinary card,

I can displease and can confuse

My only choice how to behave,

How not to fall upon my knees

To be myself in this big game,

To open doors with own keys.

All hoodoo, witchery and spell,

Please, don’t reject and bear in mind,

That I am full of them to dwell

And I am full of them to bind,

To bind my hair with ribbon tight,

To tie the things, that world has made,

I am the freedom, strength and light,

There is no need to hide my shade.

No, do not ever hide your shade. I like this expression of the enigma you are (as are we all).
