WHERE NIGHT SLEEPS

shadow424

finally

night settles

as breezes

slip the corners

settling passively

onto a pasture

of wild flowers

and assorted

weeds and grasses

where

evenings moisture

accepts the calm

of its touch

till sunrise

stirs the field

to rise

    Beautiful ❤️

  • L. B. Mek

beautiful, has such an enticing flow
subtle yet bold in its purposed minimalism
    a joy to read!
    thanks for sharing, dear poet
