I'll Hold You To Afterlife

Valerie Alexandra

How do you know if you’re going to die?

You will keep thinking of your one true love

Constantly

Repeatedly

Endlessly

Desperately

That one face you’d always find in the crowd

The one voice you’d always recognize

And that one love

You know you’d never get back again

I love you, still

For you, I will bring this love

To another life

And maybe then we will finally be together

Limitlessly

  • Comment from author about the poem: Always cherish the ones you have close now, because you will never know the last time you will ever see them. This is not to discuss about death, but to explain how love is eternal, and that even on the verge of death, you will think of your truest love.
