Flow

rebmasters

In the beauty of this majestic place,
I almost cried,
cause I wished you were here,
so our souls could converse
without the need for words,
as each miraculous, melodious moment
flows to the next,
like this aromatic river,
the end of which we call a mouth
because it speaks to us;
I only want to go where you’re going

      'as each miraculous, melodious
      moment
      flows, to the next
like this aromatic river, the end of which
      we call a mouth
      because
      it speaks to us;'
that depicted yearning is worded fingertip, tangible
      I can't help and recall
      my own regretted, failed opportunities
and that repressed ache, stirring awake
      like it all happened yesterday...
      thanks for sharing, dear poet

Oh no I hope it didn't bring up too many painful recollections of past heartache. I meant it as a positive - that one beautiful moment flows into the next and sometimes they converge and it's all part of the journey downriver. Anyway, I'm being terribly romantic at the minute I know 🖤

          Thank you so much ❤

Although I haven't fully admitted to being in love yet. It's a secret between you, me and whoever else reads these poems 😉

            Thanks so much ❤

Words can be poor tools for conveying our feelings sometimes, but we keep writing anyway xx
