Rainbow

rebmasters

I like to hide
within my secret space;
the whole world a mad melody
that only I can hear,
but it isn’t lonely;
the universe
inside my head;
stars to infinity
& oceans put to rest;
that’s where you can find me;
a peaceful pause
on my journey;
never knowing
where I’m going.

Sometimes a starlit bridge
branches off from
my world to yours.
Sometimes I fall into rainbow
coloured
time you’re not able to follow,
but I’m ok;
it’s beautiful here anyway

      Thank you my dear x

      I was trying to get across how I prefer to live in my head rather than the 'real' world. Sometimes it's a bit mad, but other times it can be pretty wonderful

      ah, what a fantastically surreal
      depiction of reality, dear poet
      a joy to behold, even if only
      for those precious, minutes
      lost in your dreamscape, syllables
      thank you!

          nice we're moving past, that bleak black heart
          baby steps, till we can make those lasting leaps... 😉
