Tune: Dove of Peace
('I come with joy to meet my Lord')
1 Corinthians 2 v.9-13
*********
By human means eye has not seen
Nor ear heard, has not been
Nor has entered into man's heart
Things of God, no, no part
The things which he has prepared for
They that love Him, 'tis sure
But God has to us them revealed
By His Spirit, appealed [to us]
For the Spirit searches all things
Things of God to us brings
Even the deep things of God, we
By Him spiritual[ly] see
For what man knows things of a man
Except man's spirit can
Show him things of human life, so
By the Spirit we know
We know the things of God which He
Gives unto us freely
And also we them speak and share
In His wisdom here, there

I think we all find a wisdom as age takes us onward. The glory of creation and our part in it is a teacher in itself.
Thanks dusk. Yes. It also says 'The aged are not always wise'. But it don't say what ages is 'aged'!
What is the 'it' you are referring to in your response?
sapiential authority or the wisdom that is sapience should never be underestimated ...........................
I can see where you are coming from here Mr. O ......................... 🙂
Thanks N. We need wisdom e'ermore. Note that word creeping in?! lol.
The 'it' is Scripture verses in this case, Dave.
Did ya pinch my 'reply' spot? I had to write this as a new comment. I could not see a 'reply' box!
