The Living Chase

Crowneile

The Living Chase

People.... they try.

Chasing after tiresome waves that only exist

For a short glimmering moment in time.

To be convinced.

That everything is well alive.

Forgetting that not every little raindrop

Is blessed with a purpose.

And yet, it is present.

Much like you and me.

We try...

'cause all we can do,

Is do what we've asked ourselves to do.

Try

Till we can try no more.

beautiful, reads like a hesitant prayer
      devoid of superficial bravado's
      self-willed certainty of outcome, instead
this is just a subtle thug, on that thread of blind hope
that we all need in our lives, from time to time...
thanks for choosing to share, such a relatable write
