Fresh from a shower of sweet, summer rain
you show up at my door.
So intoxicating;
supple muscles
endlessly vibrating
with inner energy.
I want to drink you in;
you’re dewy to the touch
& your dark scent,
like Scandinavian florals,
draws me to you.
Cover me in hay
harvested in sunlight.
Enfold me, subsume me
so we can coalesce
& I will become a
speck within your cosmos
forever happy there
& self-aware;
a part of you

Love these lines
Thank you - a little over the top romantic, but I can't help it ❤

you're just getting more and more refined
with your distinct imagery, in my humble opinion
its such a pleasure
to watch your talents blossom, dear poet
keep striving and climbing, so happy for you!
