Life been a pain
But it’s also a blessing
Living in BR
Is a struggle
But everyday is a lesson
Black on white crime is just going crazy
Thugs shooting One another
And it doesn’t stop
It takes just one
Black man to die
By a white man
Next thing you know
Black lives matter
Shouldn’t we matter everyday
Not just that one time
We killing and shooting
One another
And nobody saying anything
Do we always
Turn to crime
Or do we always turn to killing
White people always put us down
Because of what they see and hear
Y’all giving them another reason
To put us down even more
I’m tired of the crime
But I can’t stop it by myself
I’m just a girl
Who wanna stop
The violence that’s
In our city

sing your worded Truth, you never know
whose ears and eyes, they may open
and awaken, to realising
its only us, who can change
our inherited circumstance...
and Yes: 'All' Lives Matter!
Past, is something we must
Live with and Confront, to overcome
and Insure, its never Repeated...
but those who chose to sow Chaos
in the name of Activism and Injustice
are the True plague, in Modernity's
mindlessness: Virus...
(Covid ain't got sht
on people's capacity
for pathetic: wilful ignorance
draped in that cocoon
of self-pitying, heartless indifference!)
thanks for choosing to share
and inspiring my little scribbled reply
