  • Comment from author about the poem: Walking in a local lane I mentally noted the wild flowers in bloom. It seemed to have a rhythm which reminded me of a children\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s rope skipping chant, the poem developed from there. Grab your skipping rope and have a go.
