You feared
the sad idea
that we can no longer
have original thoughts,
but the truth is
we have so many that
we could remake the world
over & over to infinity,
like orbiting
each of the trillion
specks of light we
call stars
in their turn, like
a musical merry go round.
Across the universe
we could soar & then take
the ache
of being trapped
in a cold, uncaring society
& put it back where it rightly
belongs:
into a deep black hole;
an empty, forgotten abyss
we’d be remiss
to ever remember

      Thank you my dear x

I think society is set up that way unfortunately. If only there could be a radical overhaul!

      • Violet bluebell( used to be yellow rose)

Some people are very kind tho , it’s difficult when people show a lack of care . x

      • dusk arising

But the diversity of human intelligence flies in the face of this. Some minds roam the stars feeling spiritually moved whereas others plot revenge and death. There are beggars and cheats in our streets and comfortably off people secured behind their locked doors. Humanity is not one thing only... until mankind as a whole is threatened, then it will stand together.... but two generations later it is back to square one.
Those are the lessons of what is called 'human nature'.

It was just an idea... each mind is unique & giving the chance & time for each to think freely could open a world of limitless possibilities. It presupposes a world in which no one would have to beg & the notion of being 'comfortably off' would not exist. But merely a flight of fancy
