Before I met you,

You already had someone special,

You love her and you said she’s meant for you,

But all of that ended after that one call.

 

She said she wanted to break up with you,

Because she love someone else,

You agreed because that’s good for you two,

All of the next days, you were sad.

 

So as a friend I comforted you,

That time you said you are lucky to have me,

And my heart flatters hearing those words from you,

I don’t know how to response so I answered me too.

 

Day after day we became closer,

You starting to forget her,

All I wanted to see is you to smile even it is harder,

Until one day, you said you don’t love her.

 

I was so happy that you’re back to your old self,

You thanked me for staying by your side,

I don’t know what you mean but I answered you’re welcome

I see you looking at me so worried,

 

You said you were waking me up cause I am already crying,

Then you ask me what was my dream,

I tell you the whole story and you only laugh,

Then you said “don’t worry I won’t ever leave you for someone like my ex”

 

 

I smiled on my relief, then answered thank you,

I realized that I was so afraid to the things that won’t happen,

 So you cuddled me and tell me to go back to sleep,

But before that you kiss my lips while saying “you are my life”.
