A Balcony Night

Methmi Mandara

An awkward place to keep company with
A wonderful height as I've never been raised
A monstrous place if fall and bleed
A balcony night that I've never been

Night in the balcony is so sweet
As the soft wind touches me
Like gentle kisses all around
Went to a dream and came to ground

The stars twinkle bright to give me light
Stars and fireflies compete as a fight
Moon came giving a lovely sight
Wonderful glorious balcony night

The moonlight hugs the trees so tight
I see it from the balcony which is so high
Then that light touched me too
I felt happy as dream come true
