Certain Lusts

tema

Rip the fingernails out from my nail beds
Crack the bones that live underneath my flesh
Tear the skin off the back of my hand
Melt the rest in some hot candle wax
Moving onto the arm right up there
Peel the skin that I falsely wear
Snap my elbows the other way 'round
Yank the limb out the socket to the ground
Stomp my feet into the soil
Sever my ankles, don't play coy
Bend my shins to the music
That the demons play with our cupid
Gouge my gut out from where it is
Bite my kidneys and pancreas
Cut my heart down from where it beats
Squeeze it until it stops its bleeding
Grab my eyeballs, put them in your mouth
Strangle my soul until it falls out
Show me the love, you so dearly promised
Or I will bathe myself in my own solace

Oohh, I dunno, it might hurt them!
Sounds like a bad hair day to me (an 'off-day'!). heehee.
Oops, has that killed the atmosphere of the poem?
