What do You See?

Cygnus X-1

Some see the thorn,
Others, the rose;
Some see new friends,
Others, more foes;
Some see only rain,
Others, rainbows.

Some see weapons,
Others, sharp knives;
Some see madness,
Others, torn lives;
Some see bee stings,
Others, beehives.

Some will prefer
To see the black,
Others can choose
Not to look back;
Some can forget
The hurt and pain;
Others relive it
Again and again.
