You may cry to the moon
Let tears run
And entreaties scream in the air
Tear your hair
Despair as you have never done
And cannot do again
But there are certain things or people
That you may not have
For each it is a different loss
A different pain of heart
In spite of what you have acquired
A wound forever picked at
Never healed
Always on your mind
That one thing that you lack

Ooo like this one Lorna. A lot. Faved.
BTW love the rabbit picture I have something very similar stuck to my car!
Although yours is more a hare!
good advice,we`re all different
A fine write SC.
The journey which brings each of us to where we will be is filled with the lessons of yesterday, perculiar to us in person but spreads behind us as in a tapestry of revelation telling us it is the same for all but the few.
Oh to be of those few.
let it all go
for as morning arrives, you'll soon realise
it'll all be dew stains, in no time..
Thanks for sharing, dear poet
That one thing that I lack is a full comprehension of the idiocy and foolishness which exists in the community like a virus - and for that I think I will howl the moon rather than cry....
Rather a late comment but this made me laugh all over again.......... foolishness I know.......... my niece has a pretty serious boyfriend at the moment and he's an Aussie and we love him..... When young I interviewed with Qantas but went on to another job instead. However, Australia sent me "please come live here" letters for a few years - they needed women at the time - too many men........ I was too chicken to go that far but Australia has always had a piece of my heart. OK you can erase this now.
Don't think I will... All that going on, when an old bloke (not so old then..) was trying desperately to return after a long absence....
Well you can enjoy it there for the two of us.... spiders notwithstanding..........oooooo and gigantic worms.
And in another life....................
And Californian cockroaches in season.....
