Angel

lasni

I checked everyday impatiently waiting
To see the two lines that you would be making
Told your sister you won’t be alone for long
Someone you’ll love is coming along

Beaming and gleaming, despite feeling sick

Till the day of a flutter, a movement or kick
You’ll be as pretty as your sister I bet

Two beautiful angels and I’ll be all set

A November baby, a mysterious one
With a personality that’s equal to none

The second they say is the worst of all

Can’t wait to meet our naughtiest doll

My tiny angel, an olive at best

You left a searing pain in my chest

Is it anything I said or did please don’t hide

If there was a way I know you’d confide

Pain comes in waves it’s always high tide

Now that you’re gone I’m empty inside

My little angel who couldn’t be

I pray that someday you’ll come back to me
