Cloud Nine

jo

Let me tell you all about how life is on Cloud Nine

The skies are never stormy

And the weather’s always fine

You don’t need to eat or sleep or check up on the time

Though the food, it tastes amazing

And the late nights are sublime

Endless wisps of happiness and joy just float around

Smiles are fixed to faces

And feet need not touch the ground

Words are spoken softly but they’re sometimes shouted out

Some seem to induce melting

And their pow’r is beyond doubt

So yes I think I’ll stay here in this all-consuming bliss

My heart and head are lightweight

And the ‘old world’ I’ll not miss

Stay put - I would....and just whisper the directions...
    I enjoyed that even if I wasn't there...yet.
