My Minds Eye

TowodiGe

In my minds eye, wandering back to the day.

The places so vivid ,yet forgotten the same.

The sun and the moon ,the earth and the sky .

An all that's between, in my minds eye.

In my minds eye, the right and the wrong.

All that has failed, the weak and the strong.

From ones first kiss, to love that's lost.

We are all sinners that's part of the cost.

As the sun surely sets, as my mind blurs back through time.
Ageless yet old in my minds eye.

In my minds eye sinapis glows,
Brilliant as a mustard seed throughout times passionate throes.

So cheers to the beauty which is all left that I see.

Because what's in my minds eye, is dictated only by me.
