They say tears are water reactions
And scars are the tissue mending
The heart is a vital organ
Whilst the brain is the modal contaption
And emotions are hormones set wild
Therefore crying is nothing too mild
For science is the key
To bodily imagery
And life
But I say tears are the blood of the soul
And scars are the gifts of pain
The heart is the key to sparing it all
Whilst the brain just sends us insane
And emotions are strange, so blatantly strange
I am both overjoyed
And alarmingly deranged
And crying is fear
And crying is hope
And crying is loss
And crying is cope
And crying is perfect
Even when it takes your last breath
But crying is deadly
Crying is catalyst
Crying is death
