The Blue Dragonfly

Cygnus X-1

A streak of blue lightning
Across a babbling brook
Takes me unawares
The moment that I look
Past pastures of green
And dandelions of gold,
My attention is fixed
On this insect so bold.
Hovering in a mid-air blur
Above a flower’s heart
Its acrobatic nature
Amazes me with a start!
Then, just as suddenly
It zooms off at such a pace
That it would leave me breathless
If I ran that fast in a race!

    wonderful imagery, dragonfly or phoenix
its all just glamourized yearning for an opportunity
to rewrite our wrong's and find a FastTrack
    blur our path, to:
    'A streak of blue lightning
    Across a babbling brook'
a chance to realign, our path in life..
    thanks for choosing to share
and I'm sorry if I've misinterpreted your message
