Fablon
One side of her is pretty
The other, is far too intense and sticky
So good at hiding blemishes, stains and lies of course

I'm gonna dash to meet her. Should I?! lol.
I would stay glued to ya seat if ya don't wanna end up as guinea-pig minced meat ........................... 🙂
Ah - such clever imagery to get the point over Nev. Fablon makes the perfect metaphor . Two-sided natures never won suitors -
but can't say I blame them for preferring truth's face...........x
... thank you for sticking with this old fella through thick n thin, my dear lady Fay ....................... N x
Great analogy Neville. Fablon, she looks great at first take but the closer u get, you see the facade.... oooh and just as you say.... getting in deeper leads to just one tacky mess.
I have recently noticed that I am beginning to sound like a stuckkkkk record DA ... Thank you kindly all the same sir ................................................................................................ 🙂
Good write, Neville.
Two faced love is a sticky wicket.
Too true my friend & thank you .... however, I don't believe she gets around as much these days .. glued to the screen most probably .................................. N 🙂
We are all fablon in a sense, it depends on which side has been exposed. I can't believe that a piece of fablon could inspire such an amazing writing.
How FAB is that ...................... cheers N 🙂
Appearances can be deceptive sometimes .... someone may appear to be one thing but be someone else
it happens all the time doesn't it .. best keep our wits about us ............................. and a machine gun 🙂 x
We don't call it Fablon over here stateside... but it can be just as alluring, sticky, and deceitful
Fabtastic it aint, is it ..................... cheers jarcher54 🙂
greedy fingers, lead to sticky mouths and cheeks
once lifeline jars, emptied and shattered
and everyone asking, who
to blame?
and wont you know it, there's always
one person that arrives late, and acts
so dramatically hurt and surprised, as-if
only they get effected by consequences of involuntary circumstances...
that same person, is always quick
to assign blame and hijack any narrative to insure their want's and needs are prioritised, at any cost..
and yet, in those rare moments
Angels: are born, from the serenity
of her dimpled smile...
and so I ask, what vulture
corrupted such potential for goodness
from such an early and critical age?!
(sorry my friend, this took me to a very personal place,
as always, I thank you
for inspiring me, with your
ever so subtle - empathetically transcendent: poetry)
I am both honoured & humbled L.B ... thank you very much indeed my fine literary friend .. N
I could use fabalon! Them cabinets of mine are pretty worn!
Always good to read you! if this was a metaphor for some
sticky personality, lol I say run, lol
what else is a meta phor eh ................................ 🙂 xx
