My Four Minutes of Fame

I’ll write my very own poetic song

And stun the

“whole wide world”

with my talent...

I’ll Sing it on stage, to everyone

Surely that’s where I belong?

I'd wear a Valentino Gown

Hair tied back in a French bun

Mascara full, lipstick deep red

Chanel blush, stroked, upon my cheeks in peach

And oh, let's not forget

The vintage microphone

That goes so well with my personality

Yes, that's me

A sight to be seen and heard

Or just a sight for sore eyes, you decide?

I always imagin

My four minutes of fame

But oh no… wait

That wasn't four minutes?

It was barely even

Twenty-five seconds

“Oh Bloody hell”

Did you count too?

I didn’t think so, not even for a second

But I got you to keep reading though

Didn’t I?

Oohh, good write Teddy. But you have 11 minutes of fame left.
I thought it was 'Everyone has their 15 minutes of fame'.
You might get hit by an e-scooter. That might take up the remaining 11 minutes. Pesky things!

    • Teddy.15

15? Oh nooo thanks I struggle with two minutes lol 🀣🀣🀣🀣 oh yes those scooters are a pain lol πŸ˜‚ thanks orchi now if that happens I'm blaming you. !!!!( Chuckle)

Missy. When did you see my stage act?
As the great Dan Leno used to say "Here we are again!!"
15 minutes of fame condensed into 4.Hmmn,I could tell a joke, but noone would think it funny.I could belch on stage, and say it was my rumbly tummy.Or maybe pass wind and say I have sinned.Or simply say four minutes is all I could do.The rest my dears,is simply up to you.
You have written a little gem this Saturday,to enjoy my Weetabix with.Enjoy your weekend Teddy 😎

      • Teddy.15

LOL I didn't know you were perhaps a drag queen Neil, my favourite type of women lol 🀣 yes 15 minutes or 4 what's the difference in the end my 25 seconds doing nicely my friend. Thank you 🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣

The great Dan Leno, Victorian comedian was years ahead of his time, and he was very defensive of woman.
Watch the film The Lime House Golum.A nasty investigation into Victorian murders.Douglas Booth plays Dan Leno, and gives and outstanding performance.Bill Nighy and Daniel Mays, are the two policemen investigating for Scotland Yard.
How did I end up promoting this film?
Leno used to dress up on stage, for the first part of his act.But it was very very funny.

Nice one, nice song but forget the stage and four, fifteen of fifty five minutes of fame. Oh it's not that you dont deserve the fame hun, it's just the walking off stage back to being a nobody is eventually a depressing trip. But OK if u can realise that stage being isn't u, it a thing u put up there a mask, an act. I've seen ppl take themselves so seriously and become ill with it.

Yeah, you got me reading and I'll continue reading your stuff, the real you stuff. It shines through you know.

          • Teddy.15

I don't believe you were ever considered a nobody after your time Dusk, I bet their are women everywhere wondering where you are! I used to go the the swan in Stockwell to watch live acts I remember like they were yesterday X I appreciate your last words on the end of this review , I always try to write with my heart and of course the Valentino Gown is always in my dreams πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I wouldn't mind trying it on, I did once in Harrods and the zip broke of course I ran out as fast as the road runner , another teddy story I should write about one day I was only 13 years old. thank you my friend. X
