Persevere

rebmasters

Our life,
our death
are not intrinsically tied together,
but fleeting & floating,
sometimes far apart
& sometimes near,
almost touching;
brushing fingers trying to intertwine.

You have to wait for the moment;
it can happen in an instant
or take eons,
like light
travelling, flashing before eyes
even though it's ancient
& comes from the past, or
the future depending
on which way you’re going.

It’s not easy to live
or die,
so don’t be so hard on yourself.
Find the space in between.
The one where birds sing &
tides turn,
stars are just light
that doesn’t burn.
The one with delicious
stolen kisses
& jumping high
just to try & reach a blue sky.

Share secrets that don’t lie,
give yourself time.
Remember those days when
you were & were not mine.

Don’t lie,
just look into my eyes;
yours will cover us both
in eternal, glittering gold

    life-affirmingly iridescent!
    so much wisdom and positivity, thank you for putting this energy out into the world
    timely and pointedly worded, so accessible
    'so don’t be so hard on yourself.
    Find the space in between.
    The one where birds sing &
    tides turn,
    stars are just light
    that doesn’t burn.
    The one with delicious
    stolen kisses
    & jumping high
    just to try & reach a blue sky.'
    Amen!
