Real Time

Kurt Philip Behm

Saying goodbye to all that’s past,

tomorrow slipped away

The moment cherished, the instant pure

—living for today

between consequence and regret, exists our opportunity: for action..
    between, tomorrow and yesterday,
    exists our capacity: to experience..
    sometimes, we need reminding
    this moment, belongs to neither
and yet connects us, to both
    our past and future
a bridge we need to grasp earnestly, desperately: willingly!
