A New Journey

Ell Adams

I can hear the thunder rumbling through my bones inside of my veins. As blood flows through me like rivers and streams. The rain falls and drums on the tin roof. It Sounds like percussion played by a musician. My heart is beating faintly. I can feel every breath I take.

Slowly but surely as each instant passes, yet time is illusion. Seconds can feel like hours and hours can feel like seconds. It is all about perspective.

The peepers are calling to each other, so are the crickets. Darkness falls. The shadows move and change shape as if they were alive. The clock is ticking like a metronome. Once more there is silence and peace.

I am alone again, though I don't mind. With my own thoughts inside of my head. Wondering how life began. Nobody knows for sure, there are too many questions and answers. What matters is to enjoy the moment and present. Take a deep breath and think of a happy place, where there is peace and serenity. Nothing else Nothing more.

Darkness falls again. A new day begins. Morning comes quickly. The bright orange and red sun rises above the horizon. It's sun rays stream through the openings in the clouds, Miles above the ground. The tree's leave dance in the wind. Birds chirp like music in the air.

I wake up, I am still here. I can hear my heart beating. The rhythm of life. In circles like a Bicycle pedaling up a hill. A new opportunity arrives. To start all over. Another day, another journey..
