Maybe you thought I was bored
Or indifferent
Because I left you for a while
But I left my body-shell there
With you
And it didn’t have my brain
Because the white smoke and sparkles
Had encapsulated it
And it didn’t have my breathing and eating abilities
Because the thousands of tiny snowflakes
Had silently blocked the tubes and pathways
And it didn’t have my skills and abilities
Because the soft fuzzy pompoms
Had surrounded and defeated each muscle
Maybe you thought I was bored
Or indifferent
Because I left you for a while
But I left my body-shell there
With you
And it didn’t have my heart
Because you
Somehow you drew it into yourself
And I wasn’t bored
Or indifferent
I was overcome
