A disabled car parked
On the side of the road
A truck driver pulls over
Going into helping hand mode
A cat meows from a tree
A small boy springs into action
The cat safe on the ground
From the boy’s concerned reaction
An elderly man falls
A woman runs to help him
On to his feet and alright
No broken limbs
The wind knocks over
A store’s outside display
A passerby picks it up
And continues on his way
A dog searches for his owner
The woman reads the collar tag
A phone call later
See the dog’s tail wag
‘Tis a fine thing we do
When we go out of our way
To help each other
And smile today

Good write AP.
Two people heard me sing. One gave the other a pair of ear plugs, and said 'Your need is greater than mine!' lol.
I wonder Orchi, what would happen if you wore ear plugs and couldn't hear yourself sing? 🤔
Its those little random acts of kindness that make it all worthwhile .. monumental moments magnificently captured here sir ..................... N
Thank you N. And these monumental comments that make my writing worth while. 😉
Little things done mean such a lot with kindness at core........ great read A.P,
Every act of kindness in the world counteracts the wrongs committed against the innocent. Thanks for reading and your compliment Fay.
