O My Hopeful Soul!

iAli

Truth is bitter, truth is tough, truth is painful,
But it never betrays, never makes one a fool.
Life is very mysterious, changes its color in every stage
Life is lived by those who are always ready for the change.
You are looking for a gain, but fail everyday
O my soul, without a goal, you can't find a way.

O my soul, why are you so sad
You will have great future going ahead.
O my soul, what you afraid of?
It's my own life and I have to develop.
O my soul, you are not alone and not new,
There is always someone, silently cares for you.

Your path is tough, don't fall in illusion
Every single step is a test, be careful with attention.
Patience is bitter, but it's fruit is sweet
Honesty and hardwork are the only things, you do need.
O my soul, you have hope and the power
You can overcome easily, in your darkest hour.

Your goal is so far away, long is your path
You have to continue to walk, looking ahead.
The little drops of water make the whole giant sea
Your little efforts make you the best, that you want to be.
The true life has many problems and it's miseries
O my hopeful soul, worry ends when faith begins.

These words become so meaningful when an older person like me thinks of the life ahead for their grandchildren. I would dearly like to give these words to my grandchildren for them to learn the worth and wisdom they contain as they grow in years, awareness and consciousness.
Quite an amazing piece you have written here and i'm honoured to place it among my favourites.

      So many thanks dear DA.
I am so happy that you liked it. It will be honored for me if anyone will be motivated reading it.
Thank you again for your kind and encouraging response πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜„

      Brilliant!
      (in my humble opinion
if you stay clear of the
'dramatics for effect' elements, in your style:
      like the picture and the
      repetitive 'oh my soul';
      what you'll find, is that
      your words and insight's
      are enough: on their own!
      and that validation
      you're looking from others
you can actually, 'find from within'
in crafting a wonderfully distilled work of Poetry)
try to distinguish, between your own voice
and the voice you think people will relate to/ gravitate to
strive to develop you 'own voice.'
(I think you have a wonderful talent and I love your ambition
and am only writing these words, to try and help you stay on the right path towards finetuning your poetic identity,
I know its hard when everything comes to you so easily, and you are aware of how gifted you are yet, you're also evidently still quite young
but try and stay humble, dear poet
aspire to forever remain a student of life, never graduate
for the sweetest part of life is always the journey)
forgive me if my words, annoy you
by no means am I trying to talk-down to you, like I know more than you do,
I'm merely trying to share what little wisdom I have gleaned of life, nothing more
      (thanks for sharing,
      such a life-affirmingly rejuvenating read,
      dear poet)

So many thanks dear poet. I am so glad that you have responded in that way. Your comment make me more hopeful to write more and more. I have started writing after the lockdown of covid pandemic and started reading literature. I am actually a student of physics and also have a great interest in literature. I am trying to improve myself and seeking guidance who will show me how I should go ahead. You have tried to guide me with your kind and encouraging comment. πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜„
