To Always Return (+1)

Kurt Philip Behm

For me,

one time is not enough

Canyons widen

neath mountain bluffs

For me,

each time lay unforeseen

Magic transient

—a richer dream

(Montrose Colorado: September, 2021)

Lambs To Slaughter

Sometimes,

the very best informed

remain the most naïve

Cronkite

in 1963,

“Oswald Was The One”

The Mob sat back

and licked their chops,

“Bobby’s Finished Now”

As millions mourn

in false belief

—and Warren to mislead

    Kurt,

    Definitely for you
    ‘one time is not enough’.
    The more you see,
the more you want to see…
the more you want to listen to those voices that always bring you back.
It is part of your existence.

I truly sense your latest visit in these writings.
You travel out West on your bike and I travel through the pages of ‘Searching For Crazy Horse’. It is my go to whenever you reference your trips out West.

    Thank you for sharing.

      'Sometimes,

      remain the most naïve'..
      Amen!
(maybe, that's why I treasure this stunting, limitations
that will always have me the student
and never a graduate: of Life...)
      thanks for sharing
such a meaningful message, dear Poet
